SAVANNAH, Ga. – 76 Fence Southern Lowcountry celebrated its official grand opening Sunday evening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Isle of Hope Marina, marking the launch of a new locally owned and operated fencing business serving homeowners and businesses throughout Greater Savannah and surrounding communities.

The Sept. 13 celebration brought together local business leaders, community partners, family, friends, and neighbors to officially welcome 76 Fence Southern Lowcountry to the Savannah business community. Franchise owners and husband and wife team, Rhett and Anne Williamson hosted the event, which included remarks, a ceremonial ribbon cutting, networking, and refreshments

For the Williamsons, the grand opening represents both the culmination of a long-standing interest in entrepreneurship and the beginning of a new chapter rooted in the community they serve.

“After more than 30 years in the corporate world, I was ready to build something of our own where we could take the experience we’ve gained over the years and put it directly to work for our customers and our community,” said Rhett Williamson, co-owner of 76 Fence Southern Lowcountry. “Savannah is an incredible place to live and do business, and Anne and I are excited to build a company here that people know they can count on. For us, that means doing what we say we’re going to do, communicating clearly and delivering quality work from the first conversation through the completed project.”

Rhett brings more than three decades of experience in technology, warehousing, distribution and operations to the business, including executive leadership and oversight of complex, construction-related operations. He also spent five years working independently as a consultant.

Anne brings an entrepreneurial background of her own. She founded two springboard diving clubs and previously co-owned and managed a gymnastics and trampoline gym. Together, the couple has also owned and managed long- and short-term rental properties.

“We’ve both had entrepreneurship woven into different parts of our lives, so there has always been an appreciation for what it means to build something yourself and take care of the people who put their trust in your business,” said Anne Williamson, co-owner of 76 Fence Southern Lowcountry. “What makes this especially meaningful is the opportunity to do it together and to build relationships right here in our community. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who came out to celebrate with us and for the support we’ve already received as we get started.”
